ML1 Records artist roster surpasses 5 million streams on Spotify
The 8 artists on the ML1 Records label have combined for over 5,000,000 streams in just over two years, according to a Spotify analytics report. Joseph Karre, CEO of ML1 Records, said: “Surpassing four million streams on Spotify is clear evidence of our artist roster's fast-growing popularity among the 100 million music fans on the service.” Spotify is the world's most popular streaming music service by far, beating out rivals Pandora and Apple Music. Spotify moved to the top of the game in revenue, active users and app downloads, with predictions the Swedish company's leading margin will continue to grow in the months to come.
Meaku is the third artist on the label to reach over 100,000 streams on Spotify and the only to attain over 3 million. And his success doesn't seem to be slowing down either - gaining over 60,000 additional streams per month. Karre continued: “Meaku is absoutely one of the best and fastest growing artists on Spotify globally, and we are thrilled that he has achieved this milestone. The way his music continues to be enormously popular with Spotify users months after release and is still winning new fans is testament to the quality of the music and the enduring appeal of Meaku as an international superstar."
